December 12, 2024: A Peaceful Beginning at Sector-17 Plaza

The series of protests began at the heart of Chandigarh, Sector-17 Plaza, where scores of individuals gathered in solidarity to demand justice. Candles illuminated the plaza as voices united in a solemn appeal for accountability. Placards calling for strict punishment for #NikitaSinghania and others responsible for Atul’s tragic death were held high. The atmosphere was one of grief interwoven with determination, as the crowd vowed to fight for justice.

 

 

December 14, 2024: Strengthening Resolve at Matka Chowk

T he protest gained momentum at Matka Chowk, where a larger crowd assembled to reiterate their demand for #JusticeForAtulSubhash. The cries for justice grew louder, echoing through the streets of Chandigarh. Supporters, young and old, stood shoulder to shoulder, sending a clear message that Atul’s death would not be in vain. A t the third protest, held opposite CP-67 Mall in Mohali, participants marked yet another milestone in their quest for justice. The gathering underscored the urgent need for reforms to address the legal and societal challenges faced by men in distress. “Stop the legal genocide of men in India,” read one of the banners, capturing the essence of the movement. O n the 13th day of Atul’s tragic demise, Housing Board Chowk witnessed a moving tribute. The gathering paid homage to his memory while demanding the establishment of a National Commission for Men.
